What made me who I am:)
Freshmen Year '09
A lot of things changes in '09. Not all of them were bad, but i would never want to go back......EVER!!
That year I started out as a Glenwood Spring's Demon, then we moved to Durango. Who would have ever thought I would be a Demon twice in this life time, but there I was a Durango High Demon.
During that year, I was a varsity singer in Durango! BEST TIME OF MY LIFE!!!! I don't know how I would have made it without music. I Finished of my freshmen year in Durango.

Sophomore summer
That summer was the most misrable summer of my life. There was one small light in all that darkness, we moved back home. but by then i was kinda in a fix. i was addicted to reading. Reading was my escape from everything that was goin' on in Durango, i never really got out of it. when we moved back my family didn't have a place to go so we stayed at my Grandparents house for a bit. then my family and out three dogs got a place in New Castle. things were starting to look up.
Sophomore Year '10
That year i started out goin' to school in Coal Ridge. Biggest mistake if my life!!! i only stayed there for about three weeks. So then i went back to Glenwood Spring's High. Something had changed and it didn't feel like home anymore. that's when i started ditching class and rebeling. i was a student at GSHS, but i was never there and that how i ended that year.
Junior Summer
We move again, this time to a nice house in Rifle. by this time i was starting to get myself on the right path. still reading, but not as much. only when i was upset i would escape and open a book, and those time were getting fewer and fewer. that was a really good summer. we welcomed a new member into our little family, Lexi. she made everything so much better.
Junior year '11
The year started out in Rifle High School. it was good, at first. but there only so much you could take when i came to go to school with your sibling. i wanted up until Christmas break to swich schools again. that choice changed my life forever! YMHS became my home and the only place were i could fit in. that where i met my spunky little adviser Susy. she helped my catch up on all the missing credit i needed. that year was the first year i was actually happy about where i was.
Senior summer
it was no suprise when we moved, yet again. this time to a house with all wood floors, not a good idea when you have three shedding dogs. two big bedroom and a vary small room, which it turns out was mine. by that news i was really mad and upset so i dove back into my books and let everyone else unpack. hehe!! that summer was when all s*#t hit the fan as well. im sad in saying that a lot of relationships sank and a whole of trust was broken. dang that summer was stressful.
Senior Year '12
Best year ever!! True this year was different form all the others, because i didn't move to a new school! To whoever did, your crazy. This year started out where last year left off. It was like seeing family after a week of being gone. So easy to get right back into the groove of things. Sure there were new people but that was what made everything exiting. I have a new respect for my teaches and I will miss then greatly. But who knows what may be lurking in the future. Maybe I'll one day be teaching here.
I am so happy about where I am today! I would NEVER change anything that has happened. It made me the person I am to today, and I hope Im not the only only on who thinks Im a good person.
I really want to thank the BEST teaches in the world, the Yampah staff and I to thank all the teachers who didn't believe in me, because guess what, I MADE IT!! mom, dad if your reading this i want you to know i love you with all my heart and Im so happy you raised me the way i did.
