Internship Interim
Day one: 12 hours
The first day i spent with my mom going to her patient. We left the house at 7:30am and went to her first patient. While my mom was with the patient i cleaned the living room and other living areas. I wasn't allowed with her when she was bathing or helping the patient with personal things.
Her second patient, we cleaned the house and made lunch. After the patient was bathed I painted her tow nails. That was a lot of fun, I was able to get to know her better.
The third patient had a mood so i wasn't able to go inside her house (sad-face)! So i stayed outside and raked her lawn. We didn't get home till 6:30 or 7pm.

Day two: 8 hours
On the Second day I volunteered at Glenwood Springs Middle School. I spent the day in the special education department. Going over homework and talking about life in High School. During that time i was asked to learn and teach how to make a Origami Crane. That alone took up 5 hours of my time! After many tries and fails, I finally did it. After learning it I had to show the teachers how to do it. They learned how to do it quickly. That day was a lot of fun.
Spring Break
For my community I spent 9 hours with my dad at a worksite. He's a plumber so we spent most of our time dawn-stairs in the boiler room. When we were done he had me fill the pipes with are so we could listen for any leaks. If we couldn't hear any leaks, we went over all the connecting pipes with this blue stuff that bubbles and hisses when there's a leak. It was really weird! After we fixed all the lose pipes we had to carry all his heavy tools up to the truck.
