Kusudama flower instructions:
Step one:
Gather all the things you will be needing: 5 pieces of 7 x 7 cm or 3 inches square paper and tape.
Step two:
Take the paper square and fold it in half on the diagonal way. It will look like a triangle.
Step three:
Take the two 45 degree angle flaps, and fold then to the top point. You should now have a square.
Step four:
Fold the flaps backward, halfway, so that the folded edges line up with the square beneath.
Step five:
Unfold as shown.
Step six:
Open the flap and flatten it along the crease that was made in step four.
Step seven:
Fold on of the triangle flaps in, against itself.
Step eight:
Repeat with the other flap.
Step nine:
There should be a crease going along the middle of the two flap or triangles. Fold along those creases.
Step ten:
Place tape on the outside flap. As shown in picture.
Step eleven:
Take the two flaps and fold them together.
Step twelve:
You will need four others.
Step thirteen:
Place tape on the center of each piece. The "center" is where the folded edges meet.
Step fourteen:
Press another piece onto the first. It will look like the picture.
Step fifteen:
Repeat with all the other pieces.
